Week 3

Dear Parents,

It’s the 3^rd week of class. We are slowly starting to get into the regular rhythm of things. We started writing sentences that we didn’t have time to write the past 2 weeks.

This week we completed:

Reading: We read the story Phoebe and the Spelling Bee. It is a story about a girl who is scared to be in the spelling bee and pretended to be sick so she wouldn’t have to participate. However, her friend encourages her to at least try. Her friend helps her think of ways to remember words. In the end, she realizes that it’s not that bad. She even won a certificate for her “wonderful imagination”.

Science: This week, we took the chapter 1 test. Everyone did well and got over 80%!
